Hard Auditorium, Pomfret School

Hard Auditorium, Pomfret School - Pomfret, CT
ACI provided ten 6' x 11' single hung round top window units, 18 double hung windows, 4 casement windows and 4 new doors for the exterior renovation of this building. Mahogany was used throughout. Sash are true divided light with Low-E insulated glass. Windows are counterbalanced with weights and pulleys and weatherstripped with interlocking bronze.

Old Chapel, Middlebury College

Old Chapel, Middlebury College - Middlebury, VT
ACI built 80 true divided light mahogany window units with insulated glass plus three entrances. Windows were built to maintain the historic sight lines of the original 1836 windows. In order to do this we used flat bar stock to counterbalance the windows. Sash muntins are 7/8" wide. The original muntins were 3/4" wide.

Old Chapel, Middlebury College

Old Chapel, Middlebury College - Middlebury, VT
12/8 double hung window with 7/8" muntins and insulated glass. Window is counterbalanced with weights and pulleys and is constructed with genuine mahogany. Windows were preservative treated, primed and shop finished. One final finish coat of paint was applied in the field.

Church of Latter Day Saints Museum Building - Palmyra, New York
Museum quality reproduction windows, door and doorway. Sash are constructed with mortise and tenon and dovetail joinery and are glazed with Restoration Glass, a hand blown cylinder glass imported from Germany. Profiles and details match original.

Old North Main Street Fire Station

Old North Main Street Fire Station - Springfield, MA
The abandoned fire station was renovated and converted to office space for the Pioneer Valley Transportation Administration. ACI built replacement sash and provided new weatherstripping and counterbalances for the entire building.

ACI provided complete interior and exterior millwork package for the additions to this 18th century historic inn. Eighteenth century windows, interior and exterior doors, hand planed raised paneling, railings, columns and moldings.

ACI provided 200+ replacement sash packages with true divided light sash with insulated glass built with Restoration Glass. There were also 40 complete window units with new frames, etc.

ACI provided 300 true divided light replacement sash packages for the exterior renovation of this historic building. Sash were glazed with dual sealed insulated glass with Restoration Glass. Sash packages included new window weights, chain, parting beads, sash stops, locks, lifts, and weatherstripping. Window frames were restored in the field using epoxy consolidation.
